Vegas Winter Kick Announced
Largest soccer event in Las Vegas history to feature New York Cosmos
LAS VEGAS- Justice Entertainment Group is proud to announce that the inaugural “Vegas Winter Kick” will take place at Sam Boyd Stadium on February 25, 2012 and will feature the New York Cosmos as one of the participants. Justice Entertainment Group President and COO Daren Libonati made the historic announcement at a press conference Wednesday in Manchester, England. Libonati was joined at the press conference by New York Cosmos Honorary President Pele and Cosmos Director of Soccer Eric Cantona.
“The Vegas Winter Kick is going to be an exciting event for Las Vegas,” said Libonati. “Our city has played host to several World Class events. Soccer is the world's sport and Las Vegas is the world's playground. As the President and COO of Justice Entertainment Group we couldn't be more pleased to have entered the world of soccer with our partners, the New York Cosmos, and to bring the Vegas Winter Kick to our great city.”
The Vegas Winter Kick will be a two week event that will feature many exciting and entertaining events involving soccer and soccer instruction that will take place in a festival-like atmosphere in and around Sam Boyd Stadium. The soccer fortnight will culminate with the match between the New York Cosmos and an opponent to still be announced.
