March 16 festival to include Celtic punk rock band Flogging Molly and others
Las Vegas, NV (January 17, 2012) – Justice Entertainment Group (JEG) is proud to announce a partnership with CBS Radio Las Vegas and Vegas Seven Magazine to present the inaugural Dublin Down Festival featuring Celtic punk rock band Flogging Molly in a celebration of Irish heritage and rock-n-roll. The festival also features opening bands Suedehead and Sean Wheeler & Zandar Schloss. The Dublin Down Festival will kick off St. Patrick’s Day weekend Friday, March 16 at the Thomas & Mack Center (TMC) with the festivities beginning at 4 p.m. throughout the TMC plaza and the concert at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are on-sale now. All tickets are General Admission and are $24.50.
“It is extremely important to us at Justice Entertainment Group to form partnerships in Las Vegas to create events like the Dublin Down festival,” said JEG President and COO Daren Libonati. “Our goal as a company is to work with Las Vegas based entities to create synergistic relationships in an effort to bring Las Vegas new forms of entertainment and sports possibilities. We are so pleased to bring all of these groups into our already strong relationship with the good folks at the Thomas & Mack Center to give Las Vegas a great festival.”
JEG leveraged a strong background and working history with UNLV to form the partnership with CBS Radio Las Vegas and Vegas Seven Magazine to create the first ever St. Patrick’s Day festival. In the last few months JEG has also been responsible for the 2011 Championship Series Tennis event featuring John McEnroe, Pete Sampras, Jim Courier and Andre Agassi and will bring Las Vegas an international soccer exhibition match later in 2012.
“Events like this would not be possible without our ability to work with people like Marty Basch at CBS Radio Las Vegas as well as Justin Weniger and Ryan Doherty at Vegas Seven Magazine,” said JEG Vice President Jason Finfrock. “We are also grateful to our friends at UNLV. When you take any of them out of the equation it would be hard to imagine a festival like this coming to life. Putting together all of these groups makes for a great relationship and will make for a great event for St. Patrick’s Day weekend.”
Thomas & Mack Center Director Mike Newcombe agrees with Libonati and Finfrock. “It takes a team of great people and passion to create new opportunities. We’re excited as we have all succeeded together in our collective pasts.”
Tickets can be purchased at the Thomas & Mack Center Ticket Office, at UNLVtickets outlet Town Square Las Vegas, by phone at 702-739-FANS or online at www.unlvtickets.com.

I love to eat. I’m not talking about just eating when I’m hungry and need fuel to keep me going. I love to eat whenever possible, and when traveling will typically plan entire trips around meals. When my wife and I visited Paris recently, this was how I expected to plan our daily itinerary. [...]
My whirlwind trip to NYC starts off with a trip to Regis & Kelly. We get picked up in a van, props in tow, prop master Jon and fellow comedian Charlie Varicola accompany us as we drive to what feels like only a few blocks away, yet takes us about 30 minutes, typical NYC commute. [...]
